I had a spa voucher given as a gift and was able to use it here. I had a pedicure and nail art. A very friendly atmosphere, relaxed enviroment and the staff were so down to earth. Brilliant. The pedicure was nice and the nail art was fantastic as I didin't have a clue what I wanted but the lady just used her own experience and imagination and it looked fantastic. I had it done beginning of Aug 2011 and it has lasted for 2 months!! Overall I will definatley be going back and hopefully to try out some of the other treatments on offer. I have recommended them to my family and friends. Once again thank you!!

I had a groupon voucher given to me from my partner for Valentines day for a Nose wax, Cut throat shave, Shoulder and Back massage and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I have been on various different Groupon experiences over the last couple of years but this place is definately way ahead of the rest. The treatments were fantastic and made me feel like a new person. I would recommend this place to anyone, the staff make you feel extremely comfortable and are really friendly, professional and a pleasure to be in the company of. I probably would not have even thought of going here if it was not for Groupon but thanks to them and the professionalism of the staff I will definately be going back !!!

Went for a spa day with my daughter. Fantastic value for money with 2 treatments and lunch included plus full use of all facilities. Neither of us had been massaged before but it was great. Everything made us feel at ease from the candles to the music and the decor of the treatment room. The facial was amazing. I would definitely recommend the salon to anyone.

Massage and shave bought for me by my wife as a birthday present. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing hour. The 2 ladies were very welcoming, professional and efficient. I can highly recommend the massage/shave package as a treat or for looking your best prior to a special occasion. Package included a nostril/ear hair wax which was surprisingly pain-free! Would perhaps recommending requesting the wax first (particularly if you have any apprehensions) so that you can then relax and enjoy your massage & shave.

I last went to see Emma on the 9th Dec and had my usual waxing, I have been to see her couple of times before. This is how I started
A little bit about myself, I am a 40+ over weight male that enjoys the feeling of being all smooth in the boxer short area, front and back.
So you can imagine my turmoil when I first picked up the courage to give Above and Beyond Therapy a call. It was probably 6 months later after I found out that someone in the local area carried out intimate male waxing (good old google) that I found that courage to call the number and spoke with Emma.
That first phone call was an experience, my heart was going faster than I have known, talking to a complete stranger about getting my intimate bits waxed, Emma could not have been more professional or friendly and put me at ease straight away, I think I still stumbled over a few of my words but I managed to arrange an appointment.
Our first meeting was in her old place, up some old rackety stairs to a loft room, well if that didn’t put me off nothing was going to. Emma met me at her door, invited me in and straight away was chatting to me like a long lost friend about everything and anything, but never once asking the reason why I was getting waxed.
Ask Emma about what happened with the delivery man the first time with me ……
Ok as I have said I am male, a heterosexual male. Was I worried about undressing in front of Emma, at first yes, and yes you do have to be at least half naked, I like to be totally naked, to get intimate waxing done.
Was I worried that Emma might take one look at me and say “sorry fatty” too much blubber for me to work around, again yes, only my wife has seen me naked in a long while and I will admit I have let my self go a bit, and this thought was playing on my mind.
So now to the nitty gritty…. Does it hurt… well for a split second, yes, but that goes in a second or two and the aromatherapy oil that she makes herself very quickly cools and soothes the area. It really is the same feeling as ripping a large sticking plaster off, only with more chat, and believe me that in itself is a funny feeling, trying to chat with someone who is applying wax in a place that normally only a doctor sees.
But the results are wonderful, before I started going I used a off the shelf cream but nothing gets me as smooth as a professionally done wax.
Would I recommend it, well I have been a few times now, and I will go back in a few weeks get it done again, so yes, if you or your partner is wanting you to get it done the I whole heartily recommend it.
I said earlier, Emma does not ask why you want it doing, but if like me you tell her anyway, but regardless of any reason it’s the same outcome. Nice and smooth

Fabulous have just been for intimate waxing and minx what a great time really relaxing atmosphere and felt very at ease. Emma and Abi are both very professinal and friendly in there manner. I have booked to come again for the same treatments in six weeks time.

What a fantastic day we had this weekend! Myself and a friend had a Spa Package and I have to tell everyone not only was it excellent value with the 2 treatments included but the food for lunch was lovely and the facilities were lovely and clean.
We will be back again soon for another girlie day out. I look forward to another massage from Abi who knew exactly where to work on my knots!
It's not the biggest salon/spa but by far the most friendly and all of the girls are very down to earth but very professional.
